My name is Eli Portnoy. I am originally from Mexico, but am now living in NYC!

About 18 months ago I set off on the most exciting journey of my life; I started a company. On this blog I will recount how we went about building, developing and creating Emerging Demographics Inc. Some days were fantastic and others were terrible, but through thick and thin we stuck through it and we lived to tell about it.

Also, along the way I was selected as one of the top 20 young entrepreneurs by BusinessWeek.com and Inc. magazine named me the 21st coolest young entrepreneur. I have also been featured or quoted in the WSJ, ABC7, Telemundo, Univision, StaffingIndustry.com, WorkforceManagment.com, Entrepreneur Magazine, and various other publications.
